  1. Renter application submitted online
  2. Initial screening call
  3. Payment of non-refundable background check fee ($45)
  4. Placement in database, wait for call regarding a potential match
  5. HSAZ Case manager facilitates Student-Homeowner introduction (in home or at a secondary location if desired)
    • Discuss desired terms of service exchange
  6. Student tour of rental space
  7. Homeowner selects student renter, determine move-in date
  8. Student Renter Service Agreement Signed accepting HomeShare placement
  9. Homeowner/Student exchange contact information
  10. Homeowner and student work through the HomeShare worksheet
  11. Student Renter Move in
  12. 2-week post-placement check-in call
HomeShare Arizona reserves the right to decline to match a Homeowner or Student Renter for any reason at any stage before the Matching Fee has assessed.
